The Alumni Innovation Award is offering annually to promising graduates with innovative ideas and provides help and advice to bring this idea to market. Award winners are supporting to develop their ideas into viable businesses, encouraging the next generation of entrepreneurs. With the help of the SetSquared network and an award-winning business incubation program, the scheme will help Flinke launch the business to make a truly global impact.
Waleed, Founder & CEO of Flinke, joined the Entrepreneurship Program in his final year at University to learn more about entrepreneurship. His drive was mainly fuelled by a supply chain problem that he has been seeing in their family business and other companies. As COVID-19 and Brexit occurred, the supply chain disruption has exacerbated, and many companies failed to meet demand.
This was the start of Flinke – an operations platform for eCommerce businesses that allows them to manage their financing, fulfillment, and logistics. Combining all these stakeholders in one platform will enable businesses to streamline their processes and make informed decisions.
